The last two lines are the handwritten transcription of Rabbi Edward Boraz while on site at the Jewish Cemetery in Lunna.|My eyes flow pools of water|Over my beloved father, My teacher My Rav|Yerucham (unusual name) the son of [Kayem] [Kadish][Sainted One]|That he was a pure man in that the life that he led, every day, day and night, he fixed times for study of Torah|He was gathered and departed from the living on the 17th day of the Month of Adar I|In the year 5681 (1921)|May his soul be bound up in the bound of life|* Note the unusual patronymic. There are alternative|readings. It is possible that what appears to be a|“Kuf” may be a “het” and it is simply a scribal error|on the stone.|Yerucham is an unusual name as well. It is found in Nehemiah 11:12 as a father of Adaiah|and in Chronicles as well. It also means to bestow|compassion.|Kayem is yiddish for Kaddish. The last word of the 2nd horizontal line|is Hebrew equivalent of the Yiddish Kayem. It most probably is the patronymic - Kadish.
