Kamenka

Different from trips in past years, this year's project not only gave the students an opportunity to experientially explore places of Holocaust relevance, meaningfully respond to the Holocaust by restoring a Jewish cemetery and culturally immersing themselves in the towns visited, but it also was an opportunity to reclaim the history of this once thriving Jewish community. We captured this reclamation in a documentary upon our return to the United States.
