A Cross Cultural Education and Service Project
Provided by Dartmouth College Hillel in Hanover, NH
The team drove through Tykocin on the drive into Belarus. Tykocin hosts the oldest preserved synagogue in all of Poland (Built in 1642). Although a short stop in the grand scheme of the trip, the restoration of the synagogue provided foresight into the nature of the work that was to be conducted in Belarus.
